Janna

Janna is a storyteller by heart. She accompanies herself on guitar and piano, drawing inspiration from great singer-songwriters from the 1970s and beyond. Her music is a blend of pop, soul, jazz, and folk.

With her warm voice, interpretations, and personal style, she captivated coaches Thomas Acda, MEAU, and Douwe Bob (the professional jury) and the audience during the episodes of the TV program Talent Unplugged. Janna concluded the final episode with a convincing victory with her impressive version of Charles Aznavour's "She," earning her a standing ovation from everyone in the studio.

Immediately after the final broadcast, her first self-written single, "She Knows Me Now (The Silent Song)," was released. After this wonderful television adventure, it's was time to go live across the country and meet the Dutch public.

After festivals in the summer of 2025 (such as Concert at Sea), Janna launched her own theater tour in the fall, playing sold-out venues throughout the country. During these shows, Janna (piano, guitar) and her band (drums, double bass, and violin) performed a large number of original songs, as well as well-known songs like "She" and "The Boxer" from the TV show. Janna also opened for Hannah Mae on tour and appeared as a guest at a Soulful Christmas, hosted by and with Trijntje Oosterhuis.

This year kicks off with a performance at Noorderslag in Groningen (January 17th - 4:15 PM), followed by part two of Janna's theater tour in January/February. Check the concert schedule for the last tickets.

Janna will perform with Talent Unplugged on February 25th at a sold-out Royal Theatre Carré. In November 2025, the talents, starring Janna, performed at a sold-out AFAS Live.
