John Ives

John Ives debuts with his summer synth-pop song Sweetheart. Voted #39 on the UK Independent summer poll in July 2026, Sweetheart unpacks the lasting emotional impact little romances can have on someone at a young age.

In 2025, John performed his debut Headline show in Melbourne, marking his entrance into the Australian music scene after completing his Music degree at The Australian College of the Arts. Where he was mentored by influential Australian musicians, including Jesse & Ella Hooper of Killing Heidi.

In 2026, John has been working on a new collection of music. Travelling overseas to broaden his depth of experience as a musician and perfecting his unique songwriting and production style, while simultaneously actively performing across Australia. John has been seen in and out of the music and dance studio in anticipation of his debut EP set to be released late 2026.
