Wolfnaut

Forged in the sounds of early hard rock and metal, and the desert and stoner rock scene that exploded in the mid-1990s, WOLFNAUT has since its debut in 1998 inhabited the musical landscapes where melodic and catchy heavy rock meets sludgy and doomy stoner rock. Hailing from the deep forests of Elverum, Norway, WOLFNAUT (formerly known as Wolfgang) released its debut album in 1998. After touring the band went on an indefinite hiatus before reforming again in 2013. WOLFNAUT’s second album, "Castle in the Woods", was released in 2016. In 2022 WOLFNAUT released "III", the album that brought the band's Norwegian woodlands blend of catchy heavy rock and doomy stoner tunes to a wider international audience. Fourth album, "Return of the Asteroid", was released by US label Ripple Music in 2023.
