blacktoothed is a heavy-rock-band from Leipzig, Germany. The trio, consisting of vocalist/shouter Hendrik Rathgeber, guitarist & clean vocalist Mathilde Keitel and drummer David Sommer, combines modern rock songwriting with metalcore-breakdowns in the style of bands like Memphis May Fire or The Plot In You. Their diverse live set has made them share stages with bands from Miss May I to Lansdowne. Since the band's signing with German heavy-music-label Arising Empire, blacktoothed have released two records (JULI 2022; Headway 2025) which display their wide musical range and deeply emotional poetic approach.
