A classically trained vocalist with a rock and roll edge, singer-songwriter Elizabeth Bowersox embodies a vocal purity and natural musical grit that shines through in her dynamic performance style. Rooted in musical theater and opera, Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder, where her studies equipped her with the stamina for a long winded career in music. An evolution began when she picked up the guitar during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading her to discover songwriting and ultimately adopt a multitude of new genres into her repertoire. Elizabeth regularly performs solo acoustic sets throughout San Diego county, while simultaneously fronting her new indie twang rock band, Gunn Stage.
