Jamaican born Gospel Reggae Artiste Cecil Wilson, more popularly known as Sone G has emerged as one of the Caribbean’s more creative minds and a versatile Christian Artist. He was born in the parish of Clarendon, Jamaica. Sone G grew up surrounded by the constant presence of dancehall and reggae music. His family owned and operated a sound system known to this day as Turbo Sonic. Dancehall was a part of the lifestyle and even at a tender age, his grandmother Viola (Vie) would take him to events where the sound system was being played. This was a major contributor to his desire to be a musician and laid the foundation that has created the zeal that is now exuded whenever he puts pen to paper.
