Frontman Zoli Juhász has a habit of dreaming big. At the age of seven he decided that the only sensible thing he could do was to build a spaceship and discover the universe. He drew detailed plans, imagined planets and waited patiently to grow just a little bit older.

Over the years, however, as the great, billowing dream precipitated into specifics, it began take a different shape. It became apparent that the best vehicle for exploring the world is not the spaceship, but the rock band. Unfortunately, true and honest art is hardly easier than orbital mechanics. To achieve big dreams one has to develop in character which is a slow process, heavy affected by what surrounds. The band’s long awaited debut DREAM WELL TONIGHT is a concept album about becoming a better person. Inspired by people like Joe Strummer, Alex Turner and John Mayer, this music boasts meticulous lyrics, impressive guitar playing and toe tapper grooves. The songs grapple with fate, emotions, ideas, politics, regrets, and the persistent urge to break out of complacency.

On 2021-08-21, the birthday of Joe Strummer, the band played its debut show under the new ‘Ancient Spaceships’ moniker. With the record finally streaming, they’re excited to go on tour —
