McKinley James

McKinley James and band never disappoint.

He kicked a*s! Nice cozy and warm venue.

First of all the Hangar is a really cool spot. Everyone was friendly and there was not a bad place in the house to see and hear then band. McKinley and the band were fired up and tore though songs for and hour an 45 minutes. Super solid rhythm section Jason Smae [formerly JD McPherson's drummer] locked with the bass player and never let up. McKinley has a great voice and plays guitar on fire. The songwriting is surprising for a guy his age [22] . He's learned his history and can send it back in a fresh new way.

McKinley is a rising star and put on a great half hour show. He missed out on some of his bigger songs, but his unique style and awesome blues jams were amazing!

Loved the show! Saw the band in Syracuse at a small venue last year and thought this performance was even better than that one. Keep it going, and I hope to catch you down the road!

Great show! Mark Wenner of harmonica was a nice addition. They played a couple songs the Nighthawks played back in the day….cant get next to you & Little by Little. Don’t miss a chance to see McKinkey James. You won’t be disappointed!

It was such a good time! The music was amazing and the venue is really special!

MJ played warmup for ZZTop. He was dead on. Good energy and very tasty chops. It takes balls to do a 2 man set but they lacked nothing. Nothing but a good mix, that is. The lack of 5 star rating is attributable to the house, not the performers. I will go see them again when the opportunity presents.

McKinley and his drummer put on a great performance. The sound persons did a great job. Would definitely see him again.

Great musicianship and vocals, as always!

Great show!!

He was fantastic!!!

Outstanding concert in the middle of nowhere.

Super koncert ikke en man lige glemmer
