Third Generation is a rock band made up of three family members, Hannah Owl Child,
Lennon Owl Child and Erin Many Heads, who come from the Siksika Nation Reserve in
Southern Alberta. The three have been a band since 2013 and have performed at local festivals in the surrounding area, such as the Run as One music festival on Siksika. Their sound is rock and roll based and they perform original songs as well as covers from CCR to the Ramones. The three have been influenced by numerous bands from the 60s/70s, such as the Beatles, the Who, Led Zeppelin, etc.; however, their biggest influence is their grandfather who had a few of his own bands in the 70s, one of them being Sundog, and has inspired his grandchildren carry on the musical gene with a band of their own. This, in turn, has helped them develop a seventies-esque
sound. Third Generation enjoys performing in front of lively crowds and hope to carry their
music with them as far as they can.
