AJ Solaris’ future wave art-pop project M4TR brings you good times for the end times. Merging synthpop, nu-disco, melodic house, and funk with wit and social critique, The acronym, which stands for Music 4 The Revolution, explores our modern collapse and cosmic rebirth through a high-fidelity electronic lens. Good times for the end times.

He is currently working on Reimagination: The Remixes Vol. 1, a collection of world-class dance collaborations that evolve the M4TR catalog for the global club scene. The project features Billboard-topper Mr. Mig (Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Usher) and Grammy-winner Philip Larsen (Kylie Minogue, Soft Cell, Erasure, OMD), with more major collaborations in development.

This evolution follows M4TR’s third and most acclaimed album, Love Is The Revolution (2025). The project's established catalog includes the debut LP Rock To Resist By (2018), the lockdown LP Next (2021), and the high-energy M4TR LIVE (2024), proving a decade of sonic rebellion with over 2M+ streams on 4,000+ playlists in 150+ countries.

AJ is currently working on four collections simultaneously: Arkolyte II, his sophomore world ambient album arriving in 2026; On Winter’s Edge, dark wave meditations on retreat and change; By Intelligent Design, exploring AI’s impact through funky dance grooves; and How To Start A Fire, a high-energy return to the project’s activist roots.

A recent transplant to Chicago, M4TR has performed solo and with two live bands across the Washington DC area at premier venues including Jammin Java, Songbyrd Café, Pearl Street Warehouse, The Renegade, Public Bar Live, and The Pocket, as well as festivals like Adams Morgan Porchfest and Launch Music Fest.
