"...a wonderfully disorienting sense of temporal dislocation..." -Preston Jones/DFW.com Bad Mountain, fronted by songwriter Jesse Anderson, shuffles in various forms from one man to a six piece band across North Texas and surrounding states. Backed by a revolving cast of local musicians from acts such as Whiskey Folk, Somebody's Darling, The Texas Gentlemen, The Venetian Sailors, and anyone willing to pick along the live shows can vary from one to the next and keep the audience guessing with each performance. After 3 days of studio work at Modern Electric Sound Recorders (Dallas, TX) in July 2013 armed with a handful of musicians Jesse quickly signed to local indie label Hand Drawn Record and increased the band's show schedule to include SXSW, Wildflower Fest, Oaktopia, and more along with opening for acts such as Jonathan Tyler and The Wallflowers. The 6 song EP was produced by Beau Bedford and offers a range of styles from Gospel, Folk, Country, Bluegrass, and Ragtime, all of which are traditional Americana Roots.
