TWIYA [The World Is Yours Always], is a singer who tells down to earth experiences through a musical language of sweet harmonies and memorable melodies.
Born in Seattle, WA and raised in Baltimore, MD, TWIYA learned to use music not as a way to escape, but as a way to connect and reflect on her experiences.
With vocal influences like Aaliyah, Amerie and India.Arie, and hip hop influences such as Nas and The Pharcyde, listeners can expect beautiful vocal arrangements accompanied by stylized and unforgettable lyricism with a soulful vibe. As her debut EP, "EXCHANGE" is set to release in Spring 2018 and will be her first studio project.
