Sobre Beddy Rays
Kings of a good time, Beddy Rays, have released their first track of the year, Wait A While. The boys have crafted yet another feel-good, jump around track with contrasting lyrics fuelled by the hard truths of toxic relationships.
Since their release of weekend anthem Sobercoaster last year, things have been non-stop for these fun-loving larrikins. The cracker of a tune has amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify and echoed throughout Australia during triple j’s Hottest 100, receiving a spot at number 57 and truly cementing the four-piece as one of Australia’s most loveable groups. Their isolation anthem Better Weather also received rave reviews among triple j folk, gaining a spot on the station’s high rotation and leaving fans aching for what comes next.
These days it’s almost impossible not to recognise a Beddy Rays track, as their music has become a carefully curated recipe involving all the right ingredients: powerful lyrics, strong hooks, mosh-worthy riffs and a lingering sense of comradery and good vibes which remains prevalent in everything they create. Planning to release more tracks over the year and a headline tour locked in for May 2021, these four young tradies are on their way to becoming the next big Australian export. With a growing loyal fanbase, tracks that leave you desperate for a summer festival and humble, down-to-earth personalities - everyone wants to be friends with Beddy Rays.
