I've never been able to separate my love for country music, greasy blues rock, pop punk, and tasty acoustic jams. It all gets jumbled up in my head, along with pieces of poetry that I have written or read, and eventually it comes out as my version of a song. I've been writing songs since my early teens, shedding some along the way in favour of others that feel more fitting for where I am in life.
