Sobre Tanjier

Tanjier are an indie-pop band based in Ireland. They have brought their live show to the likes of Electric Picnic, Forbidden Fruit and Other Voices. Their recent tour saw them sell out their headline Dublin gig and support the likes of Sorcha Richardson, The Slow Readers Club, and Le Galaxie. With unique audiovisual and light shows, Tanjier have gained a reputation as one of the most exciting Irish live acts.

Their last two singles Lights and Crave have amassed over 300k streams on Spotify and were featured on Spotify’s official playlists. They were selected as Today FM's 'Irish Artist of the Week', 2FM's 'Fresh on Fridays', Spin 1038's 'One to Watch'. Their latest release, Crave is on the rise, featured on Spotify playlists like New Music Friday, The Pop List, Alt-Pop and more.

Tanjier's sound is inspired by acts like LCD Soundsystem and Lauv. Their indie-pop melodies are influenced the likes of LANY or Sigrid, and their guitar tones are reminiscent of Foals or The 1975.

Tanjier are Mick Killen, Ronan Lynch, and Tommy Buckley. Mick and Ronan are from Co. Donegal, Ireland. They have known each other since attending school together, aged 4. Their teenage years were spent playing music together in various bands. Tommy met Mick at University in Dublin and the two formed a band before Ronan joined shortly after.
