Reliance Code brings to mind some of the biggest names in mainstream rock and metal over the past 20 years. They have created a seamless integration across a range from hard rock to hardcore, and the songs are well crafted with thoughtful lyrics and an immaculate use of dynamics. The strong rhythm section of Chris Law on drums and Josh Roach on bass often invokes the heavy syncopation of Godsmack and Killswitch Engage. Shane Diego and JC Patterson are great complements to each other on guitar tones and playing styles, yielding flavors of many different influences in the vein of Creed, Avenged Sevenfold, and others. Todd Falconer achieves a great vocal clarity reminiscent of Default and Seether, and at will also provides raw, powerful grit that makes one think of Mudvayne or Chevelle!!!
