Ally Venable

A cracking night of blues-rock at The Old Brewery Store in Faversham. Garret T. Willie and his band made arriving for the opening set well worthwhile, with “Small Town People” and AC/DC’s “Sin City” among the highlights. Ally Venable and her band followed in style, opening with “Unbreakable” and closing with “Tribute To SRV”—a fitting finish to her UK tour. Superb guitar playing, powerful vocals and a venue that puts you close to the music. I’d happily see both bands again.

Fantastic night at Waterfront Studio, Norwich. Garret T. Willie was a superb opener, raw, soulful and full of character, with loads of feeling in the guitar playing and a really strong stage presence. Ally Venable Band then absolutely tore into the room. Huge energy, killer tone and a brilliant balance of technical ability and genuine emotion. Proper blues-rock with teeth. The venue itself was excellent too. Intimate enough to feel close to the performers, really good acoustics, and very well appointed throughout. It suited both bands perfectly and made the whole evening feel immediate and personal rather than distant or over-produced. Brilliant bands, brilliant venue, brilliant night. Would happily see either artist there again.

Musikalisch war Ally überzeugend. Die Location eignete sich aber nicht für ein Stehkonzert, da die Bühne nicht sehr hoch ist, konnten viele ab der dritten Reihe die Band nicht sehen. Schade 😔 Außerdem hat die vorband vielstufige lange gespielt (fast 90 Minuten), so dass es fast langweilig wurde .

Alley was great!! This young lady is the real deal and can really play!! She is a future blues legend in the making and a great inspiration to young blues and rock guitarist everywhere. She also is really nice and personable in person. I really enjoyed the show!!

Ally brought the whole band with her this time and as a six piece, boy did they rock the place!!! She keeps getting better each time thru town and I can't wait to see her again!!!

Ally Venable is a great blues artist. She let the whole band take solos. She played Stevie Ray Vaughn's song Lenny and the crowd went wild!!!

The Ally Venable band put on a spirited and exciting show at Eddies Attic. Ally has a powerful voice and can really bring on the rock and blues. The crowd was enthusiastic with the show. A good time was had by all.
