Catfish (UK)

International touring blues-rock powerhouse Catfish are no longer touring due to the death of their frontman Matt Long from cancer in October 2024.

Catfish regularly toured in the UK and Europe including a number of major festivals. They won a total of five UK Blues Awards. They established themselves as a real force in the British blues scene.

The music community came together in Matt's last few months to raise money at several benefit gigs across the UK for treatment not yet available on the NHS, raising over £100k.

In 2025, a tribute album was put together by a number of stellar names in the blues and blues rock world in both the UK and the USA including Joe Bonamassa and Walter Trout who both provided guitar solos. All the tracks bar one are Matt's original songs but reimagined by the various artists involved. The tribute album 'With a little help from my friends' will be released on March 20 2026 but is currently on presale here
