The artist name Shiver belongs has been taken by a variety of artists. Mostly these are:

1) SHIVER is a powerful and melodic, internet-based heavy-metal band. Despite the fact that band members have never been in a same room at the same time, the music lives through the band members mutual interests. Bands like Sentenced, Lacuna Coil and Charon are the best examples in the musical path that SHIVER has chosen.

SHIVER was born at late of 2005. The birth of the band wasn´t painful, but it took a couple of years (2003-2005) until Janne Pennanen and Ville Skön started to really work with SHIVER material. Their songs turned out to be great but SHIVER still missed one piece; a singer who could express SHIVER's way of metal.

2) An indies Visual Kei formed in June 1997. Akira (gt) went to Baroque and Yuu (gt) is now in メリー while most members retired form music scene, both guitarrists didn't.

3) A progressive trance act, most notable for the single "Deep Time" released in 2001. Shiver is the alias of Michelle Barrett. Also released the 12" singles "Extra Life / Savoy Truffle" and the remix of Slyder's "Score" in 2000. All were released on Generation Records. Shiver got widespread recognition through being featured on the fictional trance/dance radio station of the popular video game "Grand Theft Auto 3" in 2001. Shiver is the alias of Michelle Barrett.

8) A Swiss Prog/Blues Rock Band, which relased one album - Walpurgis (1969/2003 reedition)

9) Erik van den Broek together with his good friend Rob, he started 'Shiver' en 'DAP'. On Shiver they released techno and electro tracks while on DAP the real ACID tracks were released. Both Shiver and DAP stopped releasing in 1996.
