South African born DJ and producer Garth Hill has spent over a decade immersed in the sounds of the progressive, techno and house scenes, turning a healthy and dedicated passion into a way of life. Regularly playing some of London's hottest venues and supporting the likes of Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Sasha, Above and Beyond and Sander van Doorn besides many more, Garth is known for an eclectic energy and musical passion, attributes that are on display in every production and set he delivers in clear abundance. What originally started out as a travelling plan, a 20 year old Garth made his first port of call London. Needless to say, after a life changing experience in the European musical capital, inspired by the rich club culture and legacy of DJs such as Carl Cox, Judge Jules and Paul Oakenfold, he never left. Unleashing his eclectic, driving musical arsenal upon the crowds of Ministry of Sound, Fire, LightBox, Electric Brixton and the famous o2 Brixton Academy main room. Garth has also presided over some of Ibiza's hottest spots, playing across the white isle at legendary spots such as Bora Bora and the gargantuan Amnesia, thought to be one of the biggest super clubs in the world. After tirelessly teaching himself the art of DJing and remaining a constant figure of London's underground progressive scene, he's put a stamp of quality above his name, regularly supporting the world's hottest DJs and remaining a constant figure on the city's circuit. After popular releases on Spinning Quickly records, and releases on Paul Thomas's UltraViolet Records, its proving to be a busy year for this hard working lynchpin with much more scheduled for the rest if the year. And in tradition, Garth continues to release his popular Redline podcast series, playing a selection of cutting edge electronic music, quenching his thirst for new trends and staying at the forefront of the dance scene's evolutionary course. Garth also holds residency at London's underground trance event, La Dolce Vita, commanding and galvanising his reputation as an energetic and thorough DJ whilst building upon an already growing base of loyal fans.
