Their sound features elements of off-centre r&b, jazzy hip-hop rhythms and psychedelic riff-rock.

Formed at the NZ School of Music, Sky Canvas have since played sold out hometown shows and supported many great touring acts - developing on the way a polished live set, a loving Wellington fan base and a drive to keep making compelling music. Singer Katelin Little’s vocals are soaked in soul; her honest lyrics, delivery, and presence on stage are absorbing.

A 5-track debut EP was released in 2017, reaching #13 on the NZ albums chart and #8 on Heatseekers. Late 2018 saw the release of the single "Fossil", followed by a nationwide tour.
