Independent recording artist, Blakely, is an original and rare voice undefined by genre. A triple threat, from Myrtle Beach, SC, Blakely's career has only just begun. A songwriter and poet since the age of 12, Blakely has come into his own as an artist. Behind it all is his electric voice, original lyrics, and strong willed ideals. Blakely's debut EP, Hollow, released in April 2016, was featured on various live and online radio stations, including Hits 93 Toronto. Blakely was named number 1 locally and regionally in the Pop music charts on Reverbnation, and was placed in the top 40 song charts for his recently released single, Whitenoise. Blakely is currently cast as a key role in an up and coming comedy series, and is recording his second EP, Love Eater.. Blakely's recently released single, Whitenoise, is just a taste of the dark electronic works of Love Eater and the story of society''s addiction to love. The EP will be released on all platforms this spring. Blakely's being cast as Jack in a production of Into the Woods in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2015 lit a huge fire of motivation. Upon moving to Myrtle Beach, Blakely began booking and headlining shows at various bars and coffee shops across the city, and performing for hundreds on the Boardwalk. While Blakely's lyrics are influenced through personal experiences and through imaginative eclectic observation, his music style is influenced by iconic artists such as Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, David Bowie, and Lady Gaga. Blakely has recently started organizing the music video for Love Eater's debut single Whitenoise. The second EP will be released in April.
