Nihility is an aggressive independent original Technical Death Metal band. Its history starts in the late 1990s, when the band played for 10+ years in and around Ottawa, opening for such bands as Exciter, Anvil, Unexpect, Misery Index, and Cradle of Filth. The band broke up in mid 2005, only to be reserved as a recording project by its founder, Jay. By 2012, Jay left from Ottawa, eventually settling in London, Ontario, and after a six-year hiatus, the band began writing, and jamming with new members. The band started playing shows in late 2012, receiving positive feedback. The band is currently in the early stages of finishing songs for recording.
