ANKHLEJOHN

ANKHLEJOHN is an independent rapper, producer, and creative director out of Southeast Washington, D.C. — one of the most prolific and uncompromising voices in underground hip-hop today. With a decade-deep catalog of self-produced, self-released projects and collaborations alongside respected names like The Alchemist, Navy Blue, Rome Streetz, Da$H, and Pink Siifu, he has built a loyal and growing fanbase entirely on his own terms.

His sound is dense, cinematic boom bap — aggressive, lyrically sharp, and rooted in the culture of Southeast D.C. He handles his own production, mixing, merch, mastering, and creative direction, which means every release is a fully realized artistic statement.

His 2018 collaboration album Van Ghost with Big Ghost Ltd. landed on multiple year-end best-of lists, and his output has only grown since — making him one of the hardest-working independent artists in the game.
