Siavash Ghomayshi (Persian: سیاوش قمیشی , born 1945 in Ahwaz, Iran) is an Iranian song writer, singer and music producer.
Siavash studied music at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. He left Iran after the Islamic Revolution in 1979 and now lives in Los Angeles. Many of his earlier records feature a rock-oriented sound. His most recent albums, however, consist mostly of techno music.
