it was a very intimate and personable experience. Billy was able to interact with the crowd, make jokes and amazing music while she was at it. The band is also awesome. The percussionist was very talented at building atmosphere and depth and the bassist and harmony singer added so much flow to it all as well. All that mixed with an energetic and respectful crowd made for an amazing performance.

First heard Daiistar when they opened for LA Witch (one of my favorite bands) at the Lodge in LA and I was totally impressed by them. They have a great sound that I enjoy and I've become a fan. So, I was glad to see them again with LA Witch. Hope they come back soon to the LA area.

The show was awesome, and the venue made it even better. Seriously, the place is just cool, great bar, great sound, great vibe. And the staff were super nice, definitely a spot I’d go back to.

I’ve been listening to Maria Taylor for like half of my life and her music has always spoken to me. Her new album, “Story’s End” is so beautiful and she always puts on an authentic, lovely show. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

This is the second time I've seen them and they were as exciting and energetic as the first.

They rocked harder than when I saw them last year and they were just as spectacular. The light show was amazing. The sound crystal clear. I cannot wait to see them again.

Kim Gordon was great. As far as the auditorium, a second exit would prevent the bottle necking foot traffic.

The Sophs are absolutely THE band to watch this year. They delivered a fresh, original, high energy show performing their debut album, GOLDSTAR. Their music is cannot pidgeon-holed - THANK YOU! Too many new artists are trying to tap into nostalgia. This amazingly talented group keep you anticipating "what's next?!" If you haven't checked out this new music venue - Sid the Cat Auditorium, do!

SASAMI - at the heart of it - is a fantastic songwriter and performer. She’s made three solo albums, and each one has a completely different vibe - indie rock, metal, pop… and her live shows supporting each album have been faithful to their production and feeling. Saturday’s show at the brand-new and phenomenal Sid The Cat Auditorium in South Pasadena was a remarkable and wonderful outlier. For this mini tour, SASAMI pulled together a small acoustic ensemble - violin, cello, saxophone, and Sasami Ashworth herself on guitar and french horn to revisit some of her favorite songs from her catalog in quieter but no less emotional arrangements. If you’re reading this because you missed the show or if you’re wondering if SASAMI is worth seeing, then (I’ll repeat) it was great, and Sasami always brings it all.
