Temperance

As always the Bonfire Radicals were great fun and their songs made me think. My carer, who was there to support me, was blown away by the group's skill level and performance. She heartily enjoyed their music. The venue was intimate and yet they made it easy for me to attend despite multiple hidden disabilities. A fab evening out.

The pleasures were just fantastic. Great venue, good audience and a wonderful band made memorable evening.

Superb night from Sorrel Theo ,Sam and Celia, Second time seeing top performers who honestly just get better, Whenever you get the chance go see them, Excellent voices throughout from Sorrel and Sam, Combine the voices of Grace Slick Sandy Denny Marianne Segal and you have Sorrel, A shout to a very good sound at the Temperance,

This was my second time of seeing the Boneshakers @ Temperance and it was a second time of being bowled over by a tight and excellent band performing with passion, talent and humour. Randy Jacobs mastery of the guitar - "55 years of practice" he told me after, as I mumbled inanities about my own incompetence having only picked mine up at the age of 55 - is a marvellous thing to hear...Holly Montgomery picks a great bass to support the driving drumbeats of Arthur Thompson; all of the musicians in tune and in sway with the gorgeous (looking and sounding) Jenny Langer Long may they rock and roll across the globe

Sunday evening was spent watching the wonderful Bella Gaffney and Kate Griffin Music play a sublime selection of Americana themed music at Temperance. Opening the evening Kate, of Mishra and Magpies fame delighted the audience with some intriguing Banjo and Guitar including innovative use of a foot operated Bass Synth - unusual, but very pleasant sound. Bella then played 2 sets of intricate Banjo and Guitar interspersed by her endearing Yorkshire humour. Kate joined her for some magical collaborations to finish off the evening for a friendly and enthusiastic crowd.

First time seeing Elles Bailey. Great intimate show with fantastic supporting musicians. Love the new album.

My first time seeing Xander and the Peace Pirates, I was blown away a truly amazing night.

Fun, friendly, fantastic, flawless vocals. I loved the Achievers. Back to see them again in December I hope!

great night of live music , great venue too

Great show. Kara is a very accomplished artist who thoroughly enjoys playing to and engaging with the audience. The venue capacity was only circa 50 which made it an intimate close up gig. The artisan nature of the cafe/bar was well in tune with the gig itself. Altogether a very pleasant evening.
