Amazing, amazing, amazing. I’m so glad I picked this date and venue because it was so intimate. Kehlani was again amazing. The vocals immaculate. The band and dancers, chef’s kiss. Kehlani was sweet to meet and a savage on the stage. Second time seeing her and I absolutely will again.
I loved the concert. What I like so much in his music is it has an ethereal quality that amplifies the sadness & longing in his songs. I didn't think he could recreate that sound outside of a studio, but he did. The opening sing was San Louis, & it was as beautiful as in the video or CD. His band,a surprisingly small group, are excellent musicians, they play together so well, together they make each song stand out, each song as wonderful as the last. When it ended, I was sad he hadn't done Stable Song, one that I wanted to hear him do in person. As everyone kept clapping he & the banjo player came out for an encore & that's the song they played. The rest of the band came out after that & played 2 more songs. It was a wonderful ending to a great concert. I hope it isn't another 15 years before he comes back again, I would love to see him come back again, he's one worth seeing again. Mon Rovia was a good choice for the opening act, it was just him & a ukulele, & some beautiful songs. His technique of playing the ukulele, gave it a sound I had never heard before, I enjoyed his set, & he was a good compliment to Gregory Allen Isakov.
Godsmack put on an awesome show at my favorite venue Louisville Palace. Sully and the bands performance was so bad ass, I enjoyed every moment I was there. I wasn't expecting the experience that I had. I've always loved the harder sound of Godsmack but now wouldn't change a thing. Truly an amazing show and the Palace is so beautiful. So glad we decided to drive almost three hours longer to see Godsmack at The Palace over The Ryman.
BBS put on another incredible show. They played several tunes off the new album. It's always a good time at their shows. It was sad though, Britt Turner, the drummer, is back home and dealing with health issues. He is not able to tour with the band right now, not sure what the future will bring.
This was my second time seeing Joe and his bandmates in the past 6 months. I was disappointed in the 1st show, both because of the song selections and also because Joe was so loud you couldn't hear Reece or Josh or anybody else. I left early, something I've never done before in my life. The show last night at the Palace was completely different. It was outstanding in all aspects. Everything was pretty much perfect. This was the joe I wanted to see. I'm glad I went a second time. He and everyone else was just awesome.
Matt was amazing, as expected. I didn't get a kiss from him but, will always remember that I spent the ball drop with him. I hope Louisville treated him right & he’ll consider coming back, (or he can stop past Ft. Wayne, IN, that’s closer to home for me).
I have been to over 50 concerts since getting clean and sober, over 13 years. Out of all of them, Peter Frampton was absolutely the BEST concert I have been to in recovery. He and his supporting band were phenomenal. Peter may use a cane and sit the whole time but he is STILL a guitar God and played almost 3 hours straight! Some of the bands that have been around for over 50 years should hang it up. Not Peter! Not at all! If you get a chance to see him, DO NOT HESITATE!! GO!!
SEVENDUST Is A GREAT Band LIVE!!! They're Some Of The Nicest Guys I Know,I've Known Them Since 1997 And I Was Very Excited That They Were Coming To My Hometown,Very Surprised That They Were Opening Up For Another Band. The Palace Is An OUTSTANDING Venue,The Sound Is Amazing,And The Decor Is SPECTACULAR,The Staff Is Very Nice And Helpful As Well,To See A Show At This Venue Is A MUST SEE!!! ♥️
It was another great concert at The Louisville Palace ! The Buggles was fun and Seal played almost all of his hits in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Seals' long time producer Trevor Horn with his band The Buggles and Seal were backed by the same band and they were right on the money ! There was a real fun and positive vibe all night !! As usual, the sound was great !! I saw many families enjoying the concert as well. My girlfriend and I had a great time !!
The Louisville Palace is the best place to catch a show. Parking garage across the street and a nice little pizza joint next door to the venue. Cody was amazing, as always! He sang all the bangers! The Steelwoods and Erin Viancourt were great openers. I'm anxious to hear her upcoming album!
The show was awesome, Jeff Beck is one of the greatest guitar players that I have known, so glad he let's Johnny Depp shadow up under his wing..Johnny did a great job also..great seating, great atmosphere had a fabulous time..look forwards to doing it again..
Mr. Beck was incredible- the youngins backing him up were also incredible. Can't understand how or why he's paired up with Depp, just makes no sense to me. I'm old though. But, so is JB. As my pal said- if the show had started at 7 instead of 8 (did I say we're old?) and if Depp wasn't there, it woulda been a perfect show. :)
The concert was amazing. Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp both gave an outstanding performance. Hated for it to end! Please have them back!
The opening act was not so great. So loud that a lot of his singing was not understood.
Thank you for having Jeff and Johnny.
The Palace is just an amazing venue to see a show. It's a music lovers dream. Excellent sound and the room is perfect acoustically.
Whiskey Meyers was a great show. They played and sang with lots of emotion. The guitarists are both amazing and they really work together with amazing skill.
It's been awhile since I have seen a band work that hard to entertain people. Hats off.
I will definitely make a point to see then again soon.
First time seeing them. Wishing they could've played Moon and Back and/or gunshy. With just an hour to play they can't fit 3 slower songs in. I will definitely be going to see them at my next opportunity!
Alice had been on my bucket list since I was 17. I am 63 and took my 17 year old Granddaughter to her 1st Rock concert! She loved it and so did I! Thanks Alice for still rockin' after all these years and for sharing in our memories. You are truly a legend!
It was an amazing and the boys were awesome!! I’d never change a thing. The only bad thing was I was a little far away and it was hard to take pictures without it being blurry. Other than that it was the best thing ever!!
David Gray never disappoints. His voice was perfect and the set list was amazing!!! He opened with "Mallory" which is my favorite off of the new album he continued with a few more off "Gold in a Brass Age"...then he went on to belt out the classics. "Nemesis"
His longest in the set was magical, he always goes off adding his beautiful extended addition. It was a perfect Birthday night that I didn't want to end. David Gray is like a fine wine getting better with age. The new album is so great,I can't stop listening to it. Thank you for another amazing concert David!!!!
Jamey Johnson put on one of the best shows I’ve ever seen (I’ve been to a lot of concerts). He played for at least a solid two hours. Not only did he play his songs he also played gospel and some old covers. His dad came out for a little bit which was awesome too. I am definitely going back next times he goes on tour.
