Brass Monkey

Duncan is such a humble, accomplished musician. His guitar playing is simply sublime, and his voice touches one's heart. I call him the 'Pavarotti' of the country music. When it comes to playing his guitar, he is the master of adding these magic licks, which lifts the performance to another level. Thank you, Duncan, for sharing your gift with us.

Vince still has that silky smooth voice that has kept me coming back to see him for over 40 years. His wit and humour are subtle but direct and to the point. His band are amazing and the mutual respect between them shows in how connected they are. I wish Vince would do a few more shows in Sydney! This was the first time I have been to the Brass Monkey but wont be the last. Very intermit venue... perfect for jazz and blues. Thanks to Vince, Band and the Brass Monkey for a fabulous time!!

Duffo rocks

A brilliant set as always. Kane, Johnny and Jeremy always knock it out of the park. This is the first time I’ve seen them with a support act and Sunday Lemonade did not disappoint. They’re a really good fit with 19-Twenty. The only disappointment for this gig was the venue. And the band can’t control that. There were seated with a meal or standing only tickets available. However, there is hardly anywhere that you can actually stand comfortably within the venue. Having said that, they played all the standards and absolutely rocked it out. This is a really hard-working group of blokes who are absolutely talented musicians, and really should be playing, much bigger venues

Kingswood was awesome as usual but nice to see them in a more intimate venue. They played to the feel of the crowd and showed why they are one of Australia’s best live bands. Mention to the support band Circadia I had never heard them before but have been listening to their songs on Spotify since the show. I look forward to seeing both bands again.

What a wonderful venue and stellar performance by a talented team that is Dee Minor and the Dischords!! Most in the audience were in their 50’s to 60’s having seen them perform many times in the 80’s as youngsters!! The makeup donned by Dee was superb as was the bands energetic performance after so many years. Well done to the Brass Monkey
