Union Pool is a small venue with a cool vibe and a great sound system. Lamont Landers put on an amazing show for a sold out crowd (although it didn't feel too crowded.). Two bars at Union Pool make it easy to get a drink and there's a taco truck out in the back for food.

Awesome!!! The improvised music was right up my alley. The venue, Union Pool, is VERY cool. Staff is very nice & helpful. The setup is really nice, a mellow bar to hang out in, then the venue is a very cozy room with a good sound system. Fees on tickets are VERY reasonable. Encourages me to see smaller artists in small rooms like this rather than "big" shows in arena's/etc

Joe Bataan did amazing in Brooklyn. He’s 80yrs old doing 3hr + shows like he’s still in his prime. Great sound.
