Taj Mahal was fantastic as usual. The quintet was tight. He played classic times and updated them to fit this arrangement. His command of the stage was dynamic. Despite his age (82) he still has it. The Grass Valley enter for the Arts was also a star. It adds a new dynamic to the concert venues in the region.
It was amazing! The Center for the Arts in Grass Valley is THE place to see big name artists in an intimate venue.
FANTASTIC, AWESOME, LOVE THEIR MUSIC. PEOPLE WERE PUMPED UP BEFORE THEY STARTED. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT! Want to see them again. SOON!
WOW! Marc Broussard nails it once again! This is my 7th or 8th time seeing him and he puts on a great show every time!
An excellent show. The sound system was perfect. Excellent musicianship and vocals. A very nice blend of vocals from the band members with a variety of ranges.. I will see them again!
They were excellent! All the way around, the venue was great, the staff were great, & the band was amazing. We will definitely be coming back, & we are currently looking for more near by shows to see Rumours again. We'll done!
Dave Mason is iconic along with his band! My 4th time seeing him and he still puts on a fantastic show! He plays his guitars like no other and is an amazing artist! Rock on Dave🎶🎸💕
Dave was great. His guitar playing and singing were just outstanding and the band was very good also.
I wish he had played some of the songs closer to how they were recorded because I wanted some nostalgia.
Great show...not overcrowded with plenty of dance room, but intimate and personal. Loved it! Thanks again Beats Antique...
What an amazing individual Christine is. After the show he was so kind to chat and sign autographs. A very humble young man. Besides being respectful and humble, what a killer guitarist. He and his band performed for a couple of hours flawlessly. I will be looking forward to his return to the area to perform.
The Art Center in Grass Valley where they preformed is a great place to see a show. What kind and great individuals that work there. The sound at that venue is wonderful. I don’t think the is a bad seat in the house.
That woman is amazing! This will not be the first time that I see her!
This was a great show, loved both bands and the venue was small and intimate. The weather has been terrible up here but the Monophonics did a great show.
This was our 2nd year in a row making the trip to Grass Valley to see this amazing human being. I've been a fan since at least 2008. His voice, his anecdotes before some of the songs, his BAND (wow, what an amazing band), all A+++++. He could charge twice the amount for his tickets and people would still gladly pay it. It seems like he travels year-round, worldwide, and is always making music, videos, collaborating with other artists and I just love him to death. I took way too many photos our first year, so this year I decided to thoroughly enjoy the show and not worry about photos. We had SUCH a good time, however, whoever was sitting in the seats behind us decided to STEAL our merchandise t-shirts. We were in Row B, seats 5 & 7, so whoever was behind us, you SUCK. The crowd was middle-aged white people, so you'd think your possessions would be left along, but thieves come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The Center for the Arts staff was very empathetic and gave us another 1 on of their CFTA t-shirts, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it for Marc's merchandise. I managed to hang onto my can coozie, so that's a plus.
The opening act, Walden, was also outstanding. Their acapella song at the end of their set was amazing. They said they usually go out into the audience and sit with a mic, but for some reason stayed up on stage. It was still phenomenal. They all sat around a single microphone and belted out an amazing song.
Marc, Walden, the setting at the Grass Valley Center for the Arts, all of it made for a great night.
Venue is great, people fantastic, and Marc Broussard never disappoints - spectacular show by this exceptional artist!
This was a great concert! A fantastic singer and dramatic arrangements by a great sounding band. The Center for the Arts has the best sound I’ve ever heard.
Taj was absolutely amazing. The 80 year old guy still can strum my heartstrings 5 STARS all the way!
Center for the Arts is the best most intimate venue. Neko’s voice is unmatched. The best show I’ve been to in years. So wonderful.
Nice venue and the Church was phenom as always
It's a shame that if the Church was a contemporary band they would be playing major venues . They are as good or better than War on Drugs (same genre) but they are perceived to being an 80's oldies band but they are far from that
Excellent show. This was International Guitar Night so there were four premiere guitarists. It was great to hear how 4 guitarists from different places, different cultures, and different genres can complement each other and make a greater whole.
Sadly my husband and I were unable to attend. We are caretakers for my 95 year old father and due to a fall he had taken we needed to miss the show. But our friends said the show was fantastic so I will read it either way . Maybe next time. Mary Yorks
