In January 09, Dave released his first album "Stopped Running" Catapulting his musical adventures. Playing festivals and many venues in the North East of Victoria. During 2009 Davesway also played in Switzerland in March and in June 09. Now with a new focus planning a tour around Australia and recording his second album, hoping to be out by June 2010. Davesway's music can be described as an earthy acoustic sound with an honest Australian flavour with comparisons to artists such as Paul Kelly, Redgum, Pete Murray and The Waifs. With the ability to entertain any type of crowd from a rowdy pub venue, to the more subdued relaxed atmosphere of a winery or Cafe restaurant. His Music is influenced by artists such as Paul Kelly, The Waifs, Pete Murray, David Gray, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam and Jeff Buckley. Festivals that Davesway has performed at Beechworth Harvest Celebration Festival, Stanley Relief Bushfire Concert. The tastes of Rutherglen, Winery Walkabout, Queen Victoria Night Markets, Yackandandah Folk Festival. The Kick Rush Festival in Lucerne Switzerland.
