In 2014 Maddiepalooza was created to thank the Castle Rock community for their support of Maddie’s Biergarten. When we created Maddie’s Biergarten our goal was to create a community gathering place where family and friends could come together and just have fun. We also felt that it was important that we give back to the community that gives to Maddie’s Biergarten and Maddiepalooza was born. Maddiepalooza would be a celebration of the anniversary of Maddie’s Biergarten but also a fundraiser for a local charity. After hearing their story, we selected Miles for Tuesday as the non-profit organization. Since then, each year, Maddie’s Biergarten via their non-profit organization Maddiepalooza, joins forces with a local charity. We could not be more proud of our efforts and community participation over the years. On August 12, 2017, we will be hosting our 4th Annual Maddiepalooza event in the heart of downtown Castle Rock. Again, we will be joining forces with Miles for Tuesday to raise money for the Pablove Foundation and their Shutterbug program. Both Miles for Tuesday and the Pablove Foundation are committed to raising awareness of and money for pediatric cancer programs. The Shutterbug program, which is new to the Children’s Hospital in Denver, teaches children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through photography. Our goal is to raise the funds needed to ensure the program’s existence for the approved three year period.
