Djcubanitopro, in everyday life known as Juan Carlos Calderón Fernández, was born on March 29th 1986 in Havana (Cuba), in the area called Vedado. Since he was a child he was fascinated by music and he started to enter its world at a tender age. For this reason, he joined the school band, playing the drum. His career had already started at the beginning of his secondary school years: he began to organize parties and little events with his school mates and, despite not having advanced musical tools, he always made the party rock! Thanks to these first events he become quite famous in his area. High school marked a turning point in his career: he met a person who eventually became a great friend for him, Javier Vera, well-known in Havana for his great talent as a Dj and sound technician. Javier let him discover techniques and secrets of the job, so that he started to get familiar with basic notions that eventually led him to develop his works. At the age of 17 he attended a course of Operator, Recording and Artistic Editor, “Musicalizador”, that is the person who is responsible for the success of a musical event. Two years later, he concluded the course being awarded a Diploma of Sound Technician and Dj. His first real job is at “Le Select”, where he spent two years working together with his friend Javier. At the same time, he worked in many events all around Havana. His most important job was his participation in the “Havaneando” project, where he worked as sound technician, again with Javier. In July 2009 he moved to Italy: firstly in Bologna, where he worked in entertaining in a number of Latin and Italian clubs. Then, after four months in Sardinia at the entertaining club “Capo Ceraso”, where he worked as a Dj, he finally moved to Rome, where he currently lives and works as a Dj. www.djcubanitopro.com
