The 45

"Destroy, Rebuild." This is a phrase that members of The 45 Brandon Artinger, Nick Blackburn, and Cody Denton, have become pretty familiar with over the past couple of years. "We were constantly changing", says guitarist Cody Denton, "whether it was the music or the members in the band." The 45 has seen several line up changes in just the two years the band has been around and working. This would normally discourage any musician faced with this burden, but not these guys. "We've definitely seen the hard times," says Cody, " but all of that is in the past. With the line up that we have now, we have never felt more certain about this band's commitment and future. Our musical freedom is now sky high. With us, there are no limitations or boundaries to what we can create." The 45 have accomplished a lot in it's short lifetime. They have had the pleasure of playing 105.7 The Point's annual Pointfest with musical acts Korn, Papa Roach, Sevendust, Finger Eleven, Hollywood Undead, Sick Puppies and so many more. Their music has been played multiple times on 105.7 The Point, and lots of other radio stations, and has been very well received by new fans and local radio DJs alike. Having played many shows, local acts and national acts, as well as playing regionally, The 45 are only just beginning. Singer Baines Johnson is a rather new addition to the band. With incredible range and tone, this man can sing melodies that will strike the hearts of anyone within hearing distance. With Baines backed by the soaring guitars of Cody Denton, thundering pounding of drums by Brandon Artinger, deep bass grooves of Joe Geimer, and Nick Blackburn in the rhythm section, this band is destined to draw people in and never let go. "We are very excited to move forward from what we had created and recorded before and write and create new, fresh songs and sounds, without the feeling of wondering if they fit a certain sound or not", explains Cody.
