For 25 years, WOW Factor has been building a sound that grates, floats, dances, and touches the soul. On Friday, November 6th, this quirky band is coming to Hengelo (The Netherlands) for a special anniversary evening, including the release of a brand-new compilation album on vinyl. This album brings together songs old and new: a musical look back at 25 years of WOW Factor, but equally proof that the band is still very much in motion. Expect powerful original compositions featuring ambient atmospheres, solid eighties roots, and influences from indie pop, dance, alternative rock, pop, and soul. Music full of dynamics, contrast, and emotion, telling stories that are sometimes raw and realistic, and at other times dreamy or futuristic.

WOW Factor is an unconventional band from the east of the Netherlands. The band creates powerful, original compositions with a touch of ambient, solid eighties roots, and an outspoken mindset. WOW Factor describes its sound as IndiePop: a unique mix of dance, alternative rock, pop, and soul influences, brought together in an authentic and compelling live performance. Music full of dynamics, contrast, and emotion. Stories that are sometimes raw and realistic, at other times dreamy or futuristic, but always steeped in that signature WOW melancholy: captivating and surprisingly unpredictable.
