Void Hunter

Formed in 2019, in the dying embers of the world-that-was, Seattle headbangers Void Hunter lay down a pummeling, riff-driven brand of metal that's equal parts thrash-y rhythms, doom-metal groove, and high-octane Motörhead-style rock & roll; all flavored with the occasional proggy detour. Their debut EP, "Anthropocene", was released in 2023; its 5 thematically-linked tracks focus on humankind's ongoing destruction of the earth, and of the ongoing disasters--war, famine, pestilence, death--that arise from it.
