Alfredo Rodriguez is a Grammy-nominated Cuban pianist and composer whose explosive creativity bridges jazz, global rhythms, and the musical traditions he grew up with in Havana. Discovered by Quincy Jones and now based in Los Angeles, he has carved out a singular voice defined by virtuosity, improvisation, and a deep sense of cultural storytelling.
In January 2026, he releases ¡Take Cover!, a bold reimagining of the songs that shaped him, from Stevie Wonder to Latin American classics, recast through timba, rumba, and the rhythms of today. The album features collaborators such as Alain Pérez, Pedrito Martinez, and Al2 El Aldeano, expanding his sound into a vibrant, contemporary landscape.
