Lavinia Meijer (harp) en Reyer Zwart (gitaar/basgitaar/piano/zang). Muziek van o.a. Philip Glass, Meredith Monk, Wim Mertens en Radiohead.
Laat je meenemen in een veelzijdige avond vol Minimal Music en eigen werken, waarbij Lavinia wordt bijgestaan door muzikale duizendpoot Reyer Zwart. Het duo graast onbekommerd alle mogelijke klankweiden af en komt uit bij zowel Philip Glass, Sufjan Stevens als Radiohead.
Reyer Zwart is als multi-instrumentalist en arrangeur geen onbekende in de Nederlandse popscene. Als sessiemuzikant was hij betrokken bij opnames van onder meer Alex Roeka, Danny Vera, Daniël Lohues, Jacqueline Govaert, Claudia de Breij, Tim Knol en Anne Soldaat. Ook deelt hij met velen van hen het podium.

Lavinia Meijer is an absolutely amazing artist and composer. Her music was live and vibrant, subtle and reserved. Youtube videos are good, in person is beyond imagination. She delivered on every level and was very personable. Yes, I am a fanboy, I came across her on Ted X when looking for Phillip Glass, Metamorphosis compositions. Phillip and Lavinia are an incredible happen stance team. I have been wanting to see her in the Netherlands for years but it never worked out. I am so happy it never did. The Bing Concert Hall Studio is the Venue to see an artist on a personal level. Thank you very much Stanford Live for presenting this opportunity. There was a negative, there was no Merch! Lavinia was lovely and stayed after to sign autographs and take pictures. Yes!!!!!!! I hope you are able to bring her back again sometime soon. :)

Lavinia Meijer の経歴
Dutch - South Korean, award-winning harpist Lavinia Meijer is one of the most diverse harpists of the 21st century. After her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York in 2007, she is invited regularly to perform as a soloist in Europe, Asia and America. In 2009 she was awarded the Dutch Music Prize, the highest distinction by the Dutch Government for a Dutch classical musician. Meijer is passionate about broadening the possibilities of the harp. Her affinity with the music of Philip Glass and her intense groundbreaking renditions of his music have mesmerised audiences across the world. Her albums Metamorphosis/The Hours and The Glass Effect interpret works of Philip Glass, a process Glass himself was involved in. Their meeting marked the beginning of a new musical journey for Lavinia. Her albums are released worldwide (Channel Classics, Sony Classics) and have been rewarded with an Edison Award and a golden and platinum-status.
