Michael Gullo Biography
Michael Gullo began playing guitar at age 9 and classical at 14. Over the years, he studied under several guitar teachers including Ron Borczon from Moorpark College/Cal State Northridge as well as James Hunley of Hunley Studios. He has auditioned and performed in masterclasses with world renowned guitarists such as Pepe Romero, Ana Vidovic, and Xchufei Yang and frequently performed at the (VCCGS) Ventura County Classical Guitar Society and (ACGS) American Classical Guitar Society.
In 2020, he was accepted to Pepperdine University as a music/guitar performance major and received the Christopher Parkening and Pepperdine scholarships to attend and study under renowned guitarist Christopher Parkening. He completed his bachelors in 2023.
Michael’s philosophy as a guitar teacher comes from years of training, dedication, and attention to detail which creates the catalyst for teaching students in reaching their full potential. From beginner to advanced students, he can help you reach your goal in a successful, caring way and have fun while doing it.
