About this concert
Lewendahl delivers smooth RnB vocals with funky instrumentation combining a joyous pairing of juicy licks with subtle nods to the soulful stylings of Cory Wong, HER, and Leon Bridges. And this RnB, Neo-Soul and Rock inspiration came from founders Laura and Tim Levene's shared love of classic Motown and Soul music.
The two gigged extensively as a guitar and piano duo in the Hendersonville and Asheville region, before adding bassist and Brevard native Derek Sandlin. Sandlin's gospel and soul roots immediately brought a unique depth and passion to Lewendahl's stylings. The band also brought on the wildly talented multi-instrumentalist and percussionist Cyril Foster.
Lewendahl debuted the group's first album “Colours” in 2024, streaming on all platforms.

Lewendahl Biography
The RnB, Neo-Soul and Rock inspired band “Lewendahl” was born from Laura and Tim Levene’s shared love of classic Motown and Soul music. After meeting in 2014, the two quickly recognized the influences they had in common as well as their musical compatibility. After gigging extensively as a guitar and piano duo in the Hendersonville and Asheville region, the pair began recording their original material with the help of bassist Oliver Forest Snow and percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Jason DeCristofaro.
