Gian

Gian is a metal band from Finland formed in 2005 by Jasu Rossi (gtr & bvox) and Lassi Pollari (gtr & bvox) after discovering a mutual interest in playing heavy and aggressive moshmosh-metal. The band quickly saw an addition of a young and pretty bassist Juho Hakalax, the tall and ugly drummer Juuso Raatikainen and the bald and extremely loud singer Jampe Honkonen.

Rehearsing was intense and the gigs started to happen, each time gathering more and more crowd banging their heads and moshpitting wildly. In 2006 Gian also recorded two demo CDs of which the latter, Aggression Unleashed earned a possession of the Demo of the Month in Finland's leading heavymetal magazine Inferno (#48/07).

In October '07 they went on to record their third CD Pain and Pleasure which introduced a tighter, more varied and heavier sound.
