Majik Band

Majik Band creates exciting songs with their unique sound they have created through the trio formation. The trio boasts dynamically subtle to full funked bass playing by Eric Vandenbrink. Eric is also a multi instrumentalist and can find himself on the Moog or Clavinet creating synth grooves and moods. While Eric is locked in the pockets with the precise and dynamic hard hitting drums by Ben Bodine, this rhythm section is monumental to the thick sound Majik Band creates. Layer a melody making guitar riff master, Greg Weisswasser, into the organic beat / groove machine and you have an excellent original sound. Greg and Ben take turns singing leads, and or backing the other, for a special blend of music and vocal presence. The band likes to say “there is a song for everyone” due to their genre-scaped set of music. From funk to rock, jams to ballads, this band takes the audience on a one of a kind experience. In 2022 the band built their own home studio and joined forces with sound engineer, Tom Syrowski, for studio engineering and production of album works. The band has toured the areas of Nevada County, Auburn, CA, Truckee, Ca, Sacramento, CA and Lake Tahoe for the last 3 years while simultaneously working on studio productions. All three musicians have well over 20+ years of musical experience each. The band formed in 2020 and has released one album entitled “Mycelium” in 2021 which is streaming on all platforms. There are also several singles that have been released in 2023 and the band's second album will be released this Spring of 2024.
