Hamell never disappoints! I had seen him put on a phenomenal show over 15 years ago in NYC and he's still just as engaging, passionate, & funny. His son contributed some poetry and comedy as well as performing a few songs with Ed, which was a great addition. I had a great evening and went home with two of Ed's paintings.

Hamell on Trial is the musical alias of anti-folk punk hero Ed Hamell. A one-man explosion, he is loud-as-war one minute, stepping off the microphone to whisper to an enthralled audience the next. Hamell’s unique and dynamic performance style is informed by politics, passion, intelligence and an irreverent sense of humor.
