The Foo Fighters’ concert in Portland last night was an epic, bucket-list experience. From the first note, the energy was electric, with Dave Grohl leading the band through a setlist packed with both classic hits and fan-favorite deep cuts. The sound was impeccable, and the band's chemistry was undeniable, making the performance feel both tight and spontaneous.
Highlights included powerful renditions of "Everlong" and "The Pretender," with the crowd singing along to every word. A heartfelt dedication to the late Taylor Hawkins added an emotional depth to the night, making it unforgettable. Sharing this incredible experience with my brother and daughter made it all the more special—a night that truly lived up to the hype and will be remembered for years to come.

The Foo Fighters never disappoint! If you like their music, don't miss the chance to see them in concert. Prepare to be blown away for about 3 hours! The 7/25/2024 Cincinnati show at GABP in Cincinnati was amazing!(The Pretenders performed before FF & were on point. Chrissie Hynde's voice hasn't changed - still fantastic! I wasn't familiar with Mammoth WVH, the first opening band, but was wowed. Wolfgang Van Halen (Eddie's son) is lead vocals and guitar. Definitely adding them to my playlist.)

It's difficult to give this show a fair review. The music was terrific, but getting about 50% of the value due to the stoppage of the show was terribly unfair. We brought our 3 daughters, 9, 14 and 16 and they were sorely disappointed to not hear their favorite songs at their first real rock concet.
The Operators of the show, knowing full well the weather forcasts and risk, could have easily moved the show to Thursday night the 18th as it was an open CitiField day.
It was terribly ruined by these organizers that basically screwed 40,000 people of a perfect night. At the very least they could have shortened the opening acts.
Color me horribly disappointed...

The fact that Dave Growl can still play for t3 solid hours (no intermissions) with that much energy at 55 is frankly astonishing. The only thing more amazing was seeing Mick Jagger play 2:30+ at that level at 72 (when we saw them... and probably still at 80 on the current tour). But it's not just energy for its own sake. This is a band that never compromises, never lets up and always engages with their audience. And it doesn't hurt that they've recorded one of the strongest catalogs in rock and roll.
And this is why, after 30 years of Foo, you still see crowds like these at the Foo Fighters rock show.

UNBELIEVABLY EPIC!
Dave and the Guys kicked the shit out of the stadium they played and they were on stage for 2.5hrs of just fabulous, loud, wonderful music.
I didn't know how I'd feel without Taylor now - but Dave made me cry sad tears he made me cry happy tears...
I Love this band and will continue to see them whenever they travel back to Australia...
If you've never had the pleasure before - buy a ticket.. there isn't a bad seat in a stadium for these guys - they do big rock show better than just about anyone!!

Of all the venues in Arizona, this one seems to be run the best. Organized, clean, plenty of options for food, drink, merchandise locations. The sound is great, getting into the parking lot sucked but getting out took hardly anytime at all.
The show? It's the Foo Fighters - you get your moneys worth - they played for 2.5 hours - new stuff, old stuff, you can tell they are up there having fun and the audience gets to have fun with them.
The Breeders - so cool to see them back on the road.

The Foo Fighters is my one and only band! I absolutely love them! Their songs carried me through allot of good and bad times in my life. I would even go as far as saying The Foo Fighters save my life! So when they came to my town of Milwaukee, I was like "those tickets are mine!!" My x was supposed to get them and never did. So I saved up money only to buy the tickets only to find they're SOLD OUT!!! I literally cried and screamed. I was crushed. I figured I was going to get as close as I could to listen to them. Illegally parked my car, took my 2 kids and my dog (who threw up in my car) down to Veterans Park. We were able to get right up to the entrance gate!! I could see the screen and hear them perfectly!!! I started to balling and it took me a minute to compose myself. I'm sorry Dave if I didn't pay but I would have paid any of those people who were leaving, even though I didn't see the whole concert. You all were extremely amazing!! Thanks guys for being there for me again.. bless you 🙏

It was absolutely amazing and a concert for the decade that I would never ever forget and so grateful and so blessed that I had an end chance and an opportunity to go and to experiences and experience of a lifetime and I shared it with some good friends of mine thank you so much may you rest in peace Taylor Hawkins myself in the world will never forget you and what you meant and what you’ve brought and what you shared with the world

Wow. Singing, screaming, crying, laughing, absolutely the best day. R.I.P. Taylor Hawkins I hope you enjoyed your tribute concert as we certainly did. So many acts showing so much love and acts that I had never dreamed of seeing. This from someone who loves getting out there, enjoying the music. So bravely and compassionately put together by Dave and the rest of the Foo's and the Hawkins family. Our love and sympathy is sent with love to you all. One hell of a send off and an event to remember with excitement and sorrow for the rest of my and all the other 10's of thousands of other attendees. You all put on an awesome never to be forgotten show.
The only negative thing that really gets me is the people buying all the merchandise to sell on ebay and possibly other sales platforms. Especially those who went to get the merchandise and limited editions the day before the event and the folks travelling to get there on the day couldn't get a look in. People were abusing the charity status to get rich quick at the expense of the true fans and all the work put in by the event organisers. It should not have been available to Jo public before the event. For those selling their wrist bands on e Bay at ridiculous prices, shame on you. It's been a charity event and I personally don't think ebay should process these sales. The merchandise is there to remind us and hold onto even when it's beyond wear. A symbol of our love and enjoyment. Not a way to make a quick buck.
But Dave, Foo's, Hawkins Family and everyone involved thank you for such an amazing event. We sang with you, cried with you and will always remember Taylor's sunshine, fun talent and passion for music with you. X

I love the Foo Fighters, but once Krist Novaselic announced he was going to be there I had a suspicion and that was 7 months ago. So when tbe revamped Nirvana came out, I admit tears welled up in my eyes. I wanted to see Butch Vig come out too but didn't, Garbage played at sundown. I always loved Shirley Manson and she didn't disappoint. I missed Tenacious D but was there for Iggy. His band was great but Iggy should either go back to heroin or retire. I never thought I would see the day when Iggy looked tired but he did. My disappointment was the ho hum, too laid back, boring as fuck crowd, but I have been watching shows in San Bernardino since 1978 and they haven't changed much. Please guys, don't do the tired reunion The Who, Can Hale
n, Journey, Inxs yawn!! Tour. Don't cheapen this show!!

Didn’t get to this show but saw them last year in November, in Wichita, Ks. My son took me for my 54th Birthday. It was a 4 hr Show as the last time around, Dave was in his Throne with Broken leg. He more than made up for any time he felt he owed. The Foos LIVE and LOVE to Perform. They never disappoint despite your age; young or old. Had the night of my life with my son. No Voice when we left. ✌🏼🤟🏼🤘🏼✊🏼 just as it should be!!!
Wanted to have made KC a double concert weekend with the Foos on Oct 12th and Ed Sheeran on the 13th. Sheeran was AMAZING!!! No Voice when leaving his show either. Again got to go with my son and “like a son”! Made it all the more Special and Fun!!!

The growl of Grohl was on full display as the Foo Fighters took the stage last night in front of a capacity crowd. Leader Dave Grohl lead the Foos through a 2 hour and 15 minute set of high intensity hits from a 20+ year career. From the self titled debut album through the current Concrete & Gold release not one hit was left off the set list. The crowd roared its approval all night and sang along to most of the bigger hits to Grohl’s approval. Taylor Hawkins rising drum kit was reminiscent of Peter Criss and Tommy Lee with Hawkins leading the rhythm section like few of today’s rock drummers can. This band delivers a tremendous live set . It’s no wonder they continue to draw enormous crowds all over the world. If you’ve never seen them live, go. If you have then we’ll see the next time around.

Amazing !! They never disappoint . I have been to 12 shows and everyone of the shows have been equally impressive ! I love everything about the Foo Fighters! I took my 17 year old daughter last night and there was many others there with their teenage kids. They listen to rap , they don’t know what real music is , but after last night , they will forever have a great understanding and appreciation for real music and real musicians!! Thank you Foos for giving us a life changing , extraordinary , over the top performance once again .. you guys rock !!

I thought last year's Gorge show couldn't be topped. WRONG. The Safeco Field show was utterly amazing. While Dave's vocals were stronger last year, this concert took showmanship to a new level. They played the audience like an instrument. The set list was a composition until itself, rising, falling, hitting amazing crescendos, with pauses for effect, all perfectly timed. I've seen some amazing bands over 30 years, but I'm not sure anyone has mastered balancing the music with the "show" like Foo Fighters.

With out a doubt, the best gig I’ve ever been to! Not only did the Foo Fighters our on the most uplifting and unified show I’ve ever seen, but the crowd were absolutely amazing too. And the great thing is I was close enough to the stage to see on the bands faces that they were truly amazed and looked humbled by the reaction of the crowd.
I’m still on a high 2 days after. I have a feeling no gig will ever live up to the energy of the band and the crowd from Friday 22nd. I will definitely seeing hen again if I get another opportunity

Yeah dude the concert was good, managed to get there just as Foos got on stage which was pretty rad, but their sound equipment was in two tents in the crowd, which partially blocked my view of the stage throughout the performance, hence why it wasn’t 5 stars. Only other thing I would’ve liked was if they’d’ve played more actual songs instead of over-extending every song into a jam, but that’s whatever. Didn’t even play Big Me, and I’d’ve killed to hear Winnebago
Manchester, United Kingdom@Etihad Stadium
Unbelievably, most incredible concert I have ever seen. Dave is amazing with the crowd and it didn’t feel like they were just playing their songs so they could get out of there. It truly felt like they enjoyed every minute of playing. It was an emotional concert for me because I’ve wanted to go see them for so long. It was a truly spectacular performance. They had me in tears during Everlong (my favorite song of all time) and I could actually sing along to every single song, first time I haven’t recorded the whole concert on my phone because for once I just wanted to personally experience every single moment so I wouldn’t miss a thing. The security at the venue sucked cause a lot of people were doing illegal drugs and smoking. But the foo fighters truly saved the night when they came on as a band should at their concert.

Never disappointed by the foo fighters
Dave Grohl commands the stage like the god of rock he is. Weather was terrible but it didn’t matter, everyone was mesmerised by the talent and personality of the whole band. Every song was a banger and a couple of covers in the mix too
7 time seeing Foos for me and I think each show they get better. They are so inspiring and I’m pretty sure most people leave wanting to be a rock star
Love ya foo fighters

Foo Fighters were great from what we saw because it took over 2 hours to park once we got off the exit. We missed the opening band and the first 30 minutes of the Foo Fighters. We purchased our tickets in December and we're looking forward to this concert. Turned out to be very disappointing, we were sent to park in a dirt lot that took 20 minutes to walk to the Shoreline. We had lawn tickets, I couldn't even see the stage since there were so many people. I hope next time the Foo Fighters are in town they select a venue with better parking for their fans and they don't sell tickets to where their fans are packed like sardines and we're not able to see the stage
