Hailing from her native Los Angeles, Taleen Kali composes romantic punk songs wrapped in layers of shoegaze, psychedelia, & grunge, creating a cosmic sound that's dreamy & defiant alike. With fiery live sets & swirling sonics, Taleen and her band have quickly become a fixture of the L.A. music underground.

When her band TÜLIPS went out with a bang at their final headline show at The Regent Theater in 2016, Kali went solo, touring the country with indie luminaries Ex Hex, Alice Bag, & Seth Bogart. “Soul Songs” was the debut 2018 Taleen Kali EP produced by Kristin Kontrol (Dum Dum Girls) & mixed by Brad Laner (Medicine). Recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, it found the band's riot grrrl ethos maturing into polished punk with noise pop influences.

Taleen Kali's first full-length, "Flower Of Life," came out March 3, 2023 on Dum Dum Records. It was produced by The Smashing Pumpkins' Jeff Schroeder & Josiah Mazzaschi (Child Seat, Bizou, Light FM), & recorded at The Cave, home to albums by The Jesus and Mary Chain, IDLES, & members of Slowdive, The Smiths, Lush, The Kills, & Warpaint.

The title track debuted as the album’s 1st single on KEXP April 2022, & the final single, "Crusher," premiered on KEXP & KCRW in 2023 with heavy airplay by Henry Rollins.
