Predisposed. Biography
A little bit about who we are.
Hi, there!
First off, thank you for being curious enough to read our "About" page. We are a group of musicians looking to make the songs that we would want to listen to. We mix our love for emo and post-hardcore with lyrics and sounds from and about our lives. Our hope is to connect with people the way other bands connected with us.
Our Story
Our story began when Dante and Art met through a Facebook Pop-Punk group, each with a shared dream of making music that would touch people's hearts. From that serendipitous encounter, Predisposed was born. As we started playing together, we realized that our individual strengths and talents melded into a harmonious whole, and our musical chemistry was undeniable. We wrote a variety of songs that have connected with people from Southern California to the East Coast. These songs, our live performances, and the people there to listen and watch, have gotten us signed to Esque Records (and independent label by Kurt Travis and Eric Fodge), given us the opportunity to record with Josh Benton (ex-DGD, and producer that has worked with Rise Records, Equal Vision, Blue Swan Records and more), and the privilege of touring the country twice with some of our favorite people.
From Mexico to here, we couldn't thank you enough.
Our Sound
Predisposed is an emo and post-hardcore band with as much variety in our sound as the genre itself. We believe that music should be an ever-evolving art form, and we're not afraid to experiment with different styles and influences to create something truly unique. We hope to create something new and heartfelt with every song we put out. (FFO: Citizen, BAAO, PTV, MCR, Tigers Jaw, La Dispute)
Our Journey
Throughout our journey, we've had the privilege of performing at various venues, big and small, across the country and connecting with audiences from all walks of life. The energy and support from our fans have been incredible, and we are grateful for each and every one of you who has been a part of our story. Your enthusiasm fuels our passion, and it's what keeps us going. You are the reason we have been able to go on tour, get signed, and release our first songs in the way they were truly meant to be.
