Last Avenue (Switzerland) Biography
LAST AVENUE from Zurich offers a well-balanced mixture of earthy rock music from different traditions, performed with a lot of driving force straight from today. Whether bluesy riffs, melodic choruses, intoxicating ballads, funky rhythms or virtuoso guitar solos - LAST AVENUE rocks freely - and of course in the usual tradition of thrilling, great, classic rock shows with frontman Martin Gaisser, who is in no way inferior to his heroes.
LAST AVENUE is one of those bands that manage to focus on the essentials again and again. Catchy with a hook line for eternity, simple and unexciting, but no less exciting. Since 1998 the quartet has been focusing on rock music. Quite simply rock music. Their music is deeply and firmly rooted in the 1970s and invokes love, rock and freedom.
Live, the four musicians quickly win over the audience thanks to many years of performance experience, strong stage presence and powerful playing, so that each of their concerts becomes a real happening. They also like to play covers of Queen, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and many more.
