Crowd Company Biography
A modern take on vintage funk from acclaimed 8 piece band Crowd Company. A raw edge, catchy hooks, tight rhythms...with a focus on groove. The band combine a retro Hammond organ based sound with a virtuoso horn section, soulful vocals and harmony vocals.
The band evokes the spirit of 60's and early 70's funk as well as modern day funk jam bands whilst also focusing on strong soulful songwriting which combine funk with soul, blues and modern jazz.
New Album 'Now Or Never' is released on April 14th and features guest appearances by Alan Evans from Soulive and Joe Tatton from The New Mastersounds. Alan Evans also mixed the album.
