About this concert

Support the only known Peace Garden in the US dedicated to WOMEN VETERANS, located at the Greenburgh Public Library. Sponsored by the Barbara Giordano Foundation and the Greenburgh Library Guild 100% of proceeds will fund maintaining this Peace Garden. The Barbara Giordano Foundation is committed to educating the public about the 4 million women veterans who have served this country and to providing these heroic women with holistic wellness tools that address the unique challenges they face after transitioning from military service.

The entire show was well worth an hour's ride in the blinding rain from my house. Specific to Leighann Lord, she is a superstar. She is hilarious and witty, with a perfect delivery every time. I personally think it takes huge talent to have the audience doubling over without ever uttering one F bomb. Don't get me wrong. I'm no prude, but I do marvel at her elevated talent.
